For the start of the academic year, MIT students installed a 6×6 array of blue Luxeon LEDs into the waffle-like windows of Simmons Hall. |

Previously, students have installed a giant VU meter on the 19th floor of the Green Building…. |

…and displayed messages and pictures by adjusting lights and blinds. |
